We went to Maui looking for a great beach, sightseeing, exploring, and the nightlife. We're a young couple in our late 20's and we were looking for a relaxing, serene environment. This was not the place for that, but I think we were expecting too much. The pictures are so gorgeous on the site so we thought we were set... more

I went to Hawaii for my first time with my two kids. First we stayed at Honolulu and the we decided to come to Maui. Here is my review: Check in-Check out: We arrived from a 20 minutes flight to the airport of Kapalua. I recomend you if you are staying in this area to arrive at this airport. So... more

We recently stayed here as part of a group business trip. Upon arrival they have "seamless check-in" which means that you check-in at the bell hop desk instead of the lobby. The luggage is loaded onto the cart and your car is parked (free for first night!) immediately. We were shown to our room by a very informative bell hop... more

If you are planning to visit the island of Maui---I highly recommend staying at the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa. The resort is located directly on black rock--it is by far the best location on the island. The resort is located on Kaanapali Beach---everything is nearby, it is walking distance to Whalers Village, the beach is awesome and only minutes... more

I have been to this hotel on two occasions. The first time, it rained the whole stay...argh...we knew we had to return. The second time I called and spoke with the hotel manager as I had met her the first time I was there...she was very polite on the phone and actually remembered me from the previous year. She was... more

We loved the five nights that we stayed at the Sheraton in June 2009. This resort is located on the best section of Kaanapali Beach. The beach at the other end in front of the Hyatt was eroded / washed away. Our four year old son enjoyed the large lagoon style pool. The gardens and large lawn areas are beautiful.... more

Wife and I stayed for 10 days. It was amazing. We booked the deluxe 1-bed room with ocean view and it was slightly below expectations, but not by much. The shower was great with a super large head, the bed was comfortable, and the view was amazing. We could sleep with the balcony sliding door open without getting cold or... more

Summary: I found this hotel/resort to be merely average in all respects with the possible exception of location, which I will get to below. My complaints with the Sheraton were all individually minor, but without anything that was truly excellent on the "plus" side (except arguably the location), I have to say I would not stay at this location again,... more

Aloha, Thank you for your posting on Trip Advisor. As a past guest, we value your concerns and comments regarding our property. As you mentioned, Sheraton Maui can become a very quiet resort after 9:00pm at night. Due to the size of our grounds compared to the number of rooms in the hotel, we can create a very intimate and...

After a long trip to Hawaii I checked into my room to relax and take a nice warm shower - only to find out they did not have hot water. There was no mention of this when I checked in, which would have given me the opportunity to change hotels. It was late the next day before the hot water... more
