Pro: We loved our stay at this hotel. It was located in Lahaina, which was perfect for shopping, dining, and nightlife. The hotel was on the beach and was perfect for BBQ. The room had everything we needed- flatware, pots and pans, glassware, and cleaning supplies. Beautiful landscaping and great shower. Cons: Bed and sofa was not comfortable, no A/C,... more

5 adults shared condo 119 for one week and had a fantastic time. Meals on the lanai or at the water's edge community deck where the sea turtles swam. Plenty of room with closet and bureau space. Beds comfortable. Kitchen small, but prevented too many cooks to spoil the broth. View of Molokai, blue Pacific, rainbows and sunsets. Laundry handy... more

We loved staying here! The view/sunsets are absolutely incredible. My favorite thing were the turtles swimming in front of the complex! We snorkeled right alongside them. We found the complex to be very quiet. A lot of the other guests seemed to be repeat guests-- and it's no wonder because it's a great location. We stayed in unit 112. The... more

TURTLES GALORE!!! We had our wedding on the grass near the tiki grill area. It was perfect!! Renting a condo is the way to go. This place is great for snorkeling, dont drive anywhere else no need to. We have some great pics of turtles both above and under the water. The grass area and lava rock beach were perfect... more

We have had the wonderful experience in Maui. It was our families first vacation in 10 years. We found a place to stay via vrbo. We decided to stay direct oceanfront and ground floor. As we have young kids. We settled on Polynesian Shores 126. The owner was great. He sent us a month befroe we arrived a information packet... more

Great views, good location, relatively quiet. Nice deck overlooking the coast. Easy access to the water for snorkeling. Rocky beach not ideal for children wanting to swim, but there is a convenient pool. Would probably stay there again if going back to Maui. more

We stayed here from Dec. 27, 2008 to Jan 3rd, 2009. This family-oriented property is easy to get to, a great base for jumping-off to other Maui adventures. It's perfect for family groups with easy access to restaurants, farmers markets, grocery stores and of course the ocean! Our group of 9 family members was distributed into 3 condos, all of... more

We stayed at the Polynesian Shores for one week There were 6 adults.(It was a three generation family group) We were in unit 201 which was the unit closest to the ocean. The unit was lovely, the decor was great and the furniture was very comfortable. The kitchen was attractive, functional and extremely well stocked. The view from our unit was... more

While Polynesian Shores is a wonderful property and top-notch location, BE FOREWARNED if you deal with units #113 or #126. Rentals are handled by Greg Salmon on behalf of his parents who own these units. We stayed in the 2-bedroom #126. Greg gives erroneous information (specific location of unit; Lanai [3,193 per 2000 Census] and Molokai [7,404 per 2000 Census]... more
