My wife and I stayed here in April 2008... found it to be the most wonderful B&B and the host.... Mitizi... was the best... not good... not just great... but the BEST... If she is still working there.. We would recommend highly... She made us feel at home in every way and the facilities were spotless... Breakfast was great... If... more

B & B was a little difficult to find since it is located in a very busy residential neighborhood. When we arrived at Blue Horizons on a Thursday afternoon, we were surprised to find an envelope taped to the door and no one appeared to be around. The room was downstairs in the basement, next to the laundry. The room... more

So lets start off with the good. This place is very convenient for people wanting to hang out between Lahaina and Kapalua. For those people, this is a very good location. That being said, you might want to look at other locations to stay at. Here are the reasons. 1. The major highway, that runs up and down west Maui,... more

Overall, our stay was comfortable and restful. Unfortunately, we did encounter a few problems. Breakfast, while tasty, was not served until 8 a.m. Many tour adventures and not-to-be missed sights on the island require a very early start. Therefore, we missed out on breakfast 3 out of 5 mornings. Also, the room, while generally clean, had a mildewy smell which... more

Definetly not to be written home about. To begin, its difficult to get in and out of the steep driveway. Later, after a pineapple plantation tour, we gave a pineapple to the husband, who wasn't terribly excited or grateful. We think the hosts have forgotten what owning a b&b is all about, as they never asked us our names or... more

My husband and I were not on the island during this time. The gentleman here was our manager, whom we found along with his girl friend, were greeting our guests as owners. We are very sorry the people were dissatified. We have a different manager now. She is very personable and has much experience in theBed & Breakfast industry. We...

My new bride and I stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights during our recent honeymoon in Maui. This was our first time in Maui and also first time at a Bed/Breakfast. We booked directly through the Blue Horizons website and got an incredible rate. The location is a few blocks from the beach, but we found the location... more

We spent 3 days & 2 nights in Maui, I had spent hours and hours researching the web on Maui hotels and vacation rentals. While I live in California now, I used to live on Oahu and am very familiar with Hawaii hotels and prices. I came to the conclusion that the hotels were overpriced and/or nickeled/dimed you for amenities... more

We stayed for a week over Memorial day in the Lahaina suite. I think more than anything the Blue Horizons felt like 'home' more than just a room. Nice clean house and suite, fairly large living room/kitchenette, lani with tables outside facing the ocean, although the upstairs common area had much better views. (Note: book the Lahaina suite if possible,... more
