Aloha Doctor, Thank you for your response and comments. I am sorry you and your daughter experienced a Hawaiian Critter during your stay at our hotel. We do contract an outside Pest Control Company that sprays on a regular schedule all units at the hotel for all kinds of Hawaiian Critters. I believe the other hotels and condominiums in our...

Stayed there with a friend for my niece's wedding and it was the BEST vacation of my life. At the time I thought it was a one time deal, but after staying there, I will be back! The size of our room was amazing. The staff were very accomodating (they called in a massuese so that I could get a... more

Just returned from a week long stay in a studio condo with a garden view. The condo was really nice and big, not at all what I expected. After reading some of the reviews, I was worried, however, the Kaanapali Villas totally exceeded my expectations. I am glad we didn't pay extra for the ocean view, as it was just... more

maybe the room hasn't been updated in 30 years, but the beach right outside the door is timeless! we stayed here with my 6 and 2 yr old boys and it was perfect...well, it's not the hilton or anything, but if you stay on the ground floor (***highly recommended for young children***), leave the sliding doors open and let the... more

We rented unit 503 direct from an owner. The unit had a very nice kitchen and was very roomy. The carpet was old but clean and it had a nice view of the tree tops and some ocean view. If you went out on the lanai (only 2' deep) and looked right the ocean view was very nice. The issues... more

When planning our trip to Maui back in January, I researched and researched where to stay...I used tripadvisor, I asked friends, I finally went to a travel agent. She suggested the Kaanapali Villas (we wanted Kaanapali over Kihei). I checked out the reviews here and they were up and down...but mostly ok. We booked our 9 night stay in a... more

Hotel is on the best beach in Maui. Rooms are great, everything you need, full kitchen. Castaway Cafe is a great place to eat on site, and ocean side. Luau next door is great no need to drive. Scuba from hotel is amazing. Been here 6 times, will never stay another place on Maui...it is perfect more

Very low key condos with a nice pool and fantastic beach. Castaway's food is a little pricey for what you get but has a very nice atmosphere. We generally load up on groceries at the Costco by the airport then cook most of our meals in the condo. The beach is usually not crowded and generally is filled with nice... more

Stayed two nights in a ground floor studio apt Room was clean and appears to have been redecorated with granite countertops and new cabinets within the last 5 years. All appliances and cookware were there. Direct beach access and very close to Black Rock, a nice snorkelling site. Buildings are older than other condo resorts in area, and are very... more

Stayed 13 nights in Suite 108, a two bedroom-2bath unit very close to reception. The unit was generally very nice ,but not as clean as it could be, and being from a cold weather climate we don't ever see cockroaches...well we had more than our share of these little critters, which really really bothered at least 2 of our party... more
