We went to Maui with another couple and stayed at the Romantic cottage for 2 nights. The cottage had everything and the grounds were amazing. Doreena was a gracious host - helpful without being intrusive. The massages at the spa were definitely one of the best massages that I've ever received. We'd definitely go back in the future! more

The photos and reviews are all amazing, but the experience of staying here still managed to completely take my breath away. This views, the grounds, the thoughtful details, the statuary...it's unlike anyplace else we've been. On the evening of my arrival (after 9:00pm local time) I was exhausted and a bit unnerved after a long flight. The road to the Aromatherapy Foundation is a steep and winding mountain. When looking for an up-country vacation rental for our family, we found the Aromatherapy Conference Center Grand Villa getaway online. We looked at the pictures on the web site and were favorably impressed. But nothing could have prepared us for the reality of the place. We didn't stay on the grounds, but the surroundings are breathtaking. I booked the 3-hour Precious Spa Package as a surprise for my wife for our second anniversary. The spa is incredible! Service is very relaxed and personal. We have enjoyed spa days at other high end hotels, and they cannot come close to what the Maui Spa Retreat offers.... more
