Driving thru the neighbourhood, had us wondering about what to expect. However, the inn is well kept, the owners & staff are very friendly, courteous & helpful. The owner had no issue with upgrading our room, without us asking, due to unused room for our 2 nites. The room was roomy, nice decor, oversize bathroom & very comfy, good support mattress.Lots... Our stay at the Wailuku Inn at Ulupono couldn't have been more perfect. Our room was clean, beautifully decorated, roomy and had everything we needed. Breakfasts were robust! Each day started with fresh fruit, juice, coffee and the 'main' plate was delicious and very generous. The common spaces were lovely and small snacks and drinks were always available. We were... My husband and I recently visited Maui and had the opportunity to stay here for 2 nights (wish it had been more!). We absolutely loved our room (the Miulana Room), especially the comfy King bed and the multi-head shower in the bathroom. Their breakfasts are amazing and they even used veggie sausage for me since I am vegetarian! I can't... More

We recently spent 8 delightful nights at the Old Wailuku Inn at Ulupono. We had never been to Maui before this trip, assuming that it would be too "touristy" for us, and spent our Hawaii time on Kauai and the Big Island instead. And yet, this B & B looked promising online, so we decided to explore new territory. The... More

A great central location on the island, fantastic rooms and delicious breakfast. We give it only four stars because we love the personal aspects of b&b's, and although this one is an awesome place and well managed, it seemed a bit impersonal to us. We didn't meet the innkeeper until breakfast and that was our only interaction with her. She... More

The directions were easy to follow and it is very close to the airport, but far enough to get away from it too. The rooms are comfortable and breakfast is enough to keep you full until it's dinner time. There are restaurants within walking distance and we felt totally safe walking through the neighborhood at night to get there and... More

Very nice and polite poeple there at the Wailuku Inn. A perfect place to stay. Central locations, easy to find and easy to reach from the airport. Good location to start tours to different sightseeing spots on Maui. Superb breakfast and nice complimentary snacks / drinks. For sure I will come back the next time.

This is a wonderfully refurbished historical house and the innkeeper , Janice was very warm welcoming and was always happy to give us information and travel advice for the island. The room was clean, nicely decorated (we were in the Bird of Paradise Room) and the bed very comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious always starting with fresh fruit. The location is... More

We stayed here for 5 nights in February - in the Mokihana suite. The key was left for us in the mailbox outside the main door with instructions of how to get to the room, so it really didn't matter how late into the evening we arrived. Our room was gorgeous, quality furnishings and very very clean. The room was... More

After a couple nights upcountry, my boyfriend and I spent two nights in the Hibiscus room at the Old Wailuku Inn. The downstairs room is a bit dark and the lanai overlooks the parking lot, but it was still nice to have an outdoor space and get some light. The upstairs lanai over the garden and living room are also... More
