I really hesitate writing anything on a public forum, my mother always said if you have nothing nice to say then don't say anything at all. However, since I value tripadvisor and other travelers experiences I figured I better speak up. The apartment is not the quiet, clean and comfortable retreat the website leads you to believe. It was very... More

When we travel, we want to get to know a place. Ka hale mala is a beautiful place to stay, and the breakfasts were delicious, but it was the conversations with Cheryl that helped us to find the insights we were seeking. Wandering around a nighttime downtown eating hot bread fresh from the bakery, challenging ourselves with hiking and swimming,... More

Great to come back to after a day of exploring. Cheryl, your host, really tries to give you helpful information for exploring Molokai. This place is a good sized apartment, with a mostly stocked kitchen so that you can cook your own food. Very clean. Bedroom has two beds that can be together or apart depending on the relationship you... More

Cheryl was a Godsend to us on our vacation. She welcomed us personally at the airport and guided us to her home. After a tour of the accommodations with good tips to best enjoy our stay she gave us all the privacy we needed. She keeps a beautiful home and yard in which we were free to wander about in... More

Conveniently located, quiet, clean, affordable and comfortable B & B with a lovely patio garden. the proprietor Cheryl is a great source of information about things to do on Molokai and island politics-better than any guidebook, and goes above and beyond to make sure her guests are taken care of.

We stayed for over 2 weeks and had a wonderful experience in Molokai because of Cheryl. Cheryl goes above and beyond to make her guests feel at home and comfortable. Cheryl, knows everyone on Molokai everything about the island. The B& B is immaculate. The breakfasts were unique and excellent and dietary problems were handled. I can't say enough about... More

Molokai is not for everyone, and neither is this B&B, but if you want to try something out of the ordinary, far from the glitz of Waikiki, this is a genuine experience. Ka Hale Mala is spacious, convenient, comfortable, and a fine value in a lovely place. What makes it special, however, is the innkeeper, Cheryl, who picked us up... More

Your host Cheryl will take great care of you. She will usually meet her guests at the airport (and she even went back early the next morning to pick up my luggage that didn't make it with me the night before!) and she provides a thorough and interesting overview of the island. Her breakfast was tasty and healthy and the... More
