Tom and Karyl were lovely, friendly hosts. They explained what there was to see, where to eat, if we had questions they would help. Tom was especially a great character with a good sense of humour. Our room was clean with a US king (UK super king) bed and private bathroom. We had a tv and DVD player in our... More

We stayed just a couple of nights at the Komohana on Molokail, mostly to see Kalaupapa and experience the mule ride down one of the highest sea cliffs in the world. We were certainly well rewarded for going off the beaten path. Tom and Karyl are wonderful hosts. The breakfasts were outstanding (especially the macadamia nut pancakes with carmel syrup......... Tom and Karyl welcomed me into their home with open arms. Like others indicated I have to admit that the breakfasts were amazing, especially the banana macademia nut pancakes. The room spotless, as was the bathroom. While it did not bother me, the room is right next to Tom and Karyl's Living room. Some folks may not like this and... More

Molokai is lucky to have one truly lovely B&B. Molokai Komohana is on the west side of the island, a ~20 minute drive from town (there's only one) and any restaurants - but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Both rooms enjoy a private bathroom, but neither is in-suite. We stayed three nights in the Ka Mahina room, which has an... More

We visited Molokai primarily to take the mule trip to Kalaupapa and the B&B run by Tom and Karyl is a good place to stay. As the other reviews state, Tom makes a great breakfast. But, also important, he doesn't hesitate to get up early to accomodate the early departure required by the mule trip. Both rooms in this B&B... More

We don't often stay in B & B's and were very extremely pleased with our choice for accommodation on the west side of Molokai. Tom and Karyl are the most caring hosts that any traveler would want to meet after a long flight. First, a welcome cup of tea and getting settled, then a quick brief on the area and... More

A group of four of us recently stayed with Tom and Karyl for three nights on Molokai. We were so pleasantly surprised by how wonderfully hospitable these two people are. We were made to feel very welcome in their home, almost like family. Tom's breakfasts really are as good as people claim they are; as an added bonus our coffee... More

We stayed here 4 nights & were really glad we booked this B & B. The first night we were in the back bedrm with 1/2 bath right outside the room & a shower just a few steps outside but enclosed. It was fine but we stayed the other 3 nts in the front BR w/attached full bath & probably... More

My wife and I started our two week Honeymoon in Molokai before going to Maui and Lanai. We absolutely loved this place. It was clean, peaceful, and Tom was an excellent host. Unfortunately, Karyl was out of state for our visit. Tom was an excellent cook and he was a wealth of knowledge about Molokai just as the other reviews... More
