Really the best resort in location in Oahu. If you don't want the shrieking frenzy of Honolulu or its crowded faux beaches, the North Shore is the place to go. Tranquil, great beaches, excellent snorkeling for even the most inexperienced and still close enough to the resturants and night life of Waikiki. The pony ride at the resort, Shark's Cove... more

I thought the condition of the resort was good, I know some reviews touched on this but I have to say they must be picky or an unusual occurrence. The Daily resort fee was a joke. With that fee you get self parking which is open to the public. This caused several problems like trying to find a spot, walking... more

Pleasant Holidays book this resort in a package deal from LAX to HNL including airfare, hotel and 5 day auto rental we paid about 2,600 for 5 nights. Perhaps a bit high, but it was booked 3 weeks before departure. The flight over was oversold, the plane was crowded. Hertz car rental was fast and efficient, the road to the... more

Book this hotel. This is the place. This is Hawaii. We never even left the resort. The negatives expressed on other reviews are generally true. Yes, the hotel is a little worn in places. Sure, the rooms are laughably decorated in a horrifying tableau of greens. You won't have a state of the art TV (why anyone would turn the... more

We just returned from a wonderful family vacation at Turtle Bay and will definitely return. The highlight of our trip by far was the kayak tour of Kawela Bay - you can book it with Captain Scott right on the resort's website. A blast, and great to learn a bit about the ecology of the area. Snorkeling at the resort's... more

I just got back from our week's stay in Turtle Bay Resort in Oahu last Friday. I traveled with my husband and two young kids, 8 and 2. We drove a hour from the airport to the hotel. It was kind of tiring, but we had our first look at Hawaii. The mountains..the trees..the flowers...wonderful but yikes..the traffic. Then we... more

Extremly good service, nothing was too much to ask for, we did not like our 1st room overlooking the busy pool and in NO TIME we could move to another room, East Wing is the best, just a relaxing lovely place in a great central location on the north shore. I don't know what people here are complaining about. Rooms... more

My boyfriend at the time (now my hubby) and I stayed at Turtle Bay and it was amazing. We had a Ocean view room, which was nicely decorated, super big, and comfortable. I wish there would have been another dresser, but other then that the room was perfect. The room had a fridge which was great for keeping fruit, yoghurt,... more

Perfect reception at the front desk. Excellent room, clean, good bed, spacious balcony, wonderful view. Excellent pool area. The down point is the Palm Terrace. I don't mind spending 360 $ per night for the room. But if they try to sell you a handfull of Corn Flakes for 6 $ each and expect a tip, I balk. If I... more
