My wife and I had a great time for the few days we stayed with Bob and Jeanette at their B&B. The room is attached to their private home, but not in the home. Private access through driveway/breezeway. The room was everything that you want in a nice B&B. Quiet, off the main road, safe, Bob and Jeanette were gracious... more

We spent four nights in Papaya Paradise B&B. The house is located in a residential area. Away from the crowds in Honolulu but not too far away - 30 minutes by car. We booked the room which is directly at the pool. It was clean and really lovely. Coffee was cooked by the hosts, there were bagels, creamcheese, jelly, cereals,... more

We thought the location was ideal..... away from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu and city traffic. The house is in a quiet neighborhood nicely landscaped with a good size pool steps from our door. We were in Unit 2 which is slightly smaller from Unit 1 and farther from the main house. We had full use of the breakfast... more

During our Hawaiian summer holiday we stayed 3 nights with Jeannette and Bob (Curley) at the Papaya Paradise BB, a very nice and friendly place where you are warmly welcomed. Jeanette and Curley do their very best to make you feel comfortable and like at home. The large independant room with big bathroom (shower) we stayed in is located in... more

As soon as you step onto the lanai, Bob & Jeanette take care of you. The tucked-away setting - quiet room, pretty pool & yard, handy breakfast area with refrigerator - offers just what is needed for a restful vacation. The easy neighborhood stroll to the ocean is a very nice distance for stretching your legs before or after a... more

If you are looking for a quaint, quiet, relaxing retreat away from the busyness and commercialism of Waikiki, this is definitely the place for you. Bob and Jeannette, the owners, have been running the establishment for over 25 years, and are without a doubt the some of the nicest hosts we've ever come across. Although you have your own room... more

Our Room was clean, perfectly functional and very well equipped. We had a nice view, a beautiful pool, coolers, body boards, restaurant guides and more! We felt our selves very welcome and homelike. With the quietly located B&B being close to the beautiful beach park in Kailua we were just perfectly happy, not only because the action of Waikiki is... more

Here's the best way I can put it: our plan was to visit Oahu first, then go to Kauai next year, then Maui, etc. But after staying for a week at Papaya Paradise, we are seriously thinking about simply going back to Kailua again, and staying here. Here's another way of putting it: don't you wish you had parents who... more

Large bedroom , Comfortable to sleep in, more than 2 adults would be crowded. No view from the room. Open door and walk out nice view of the mountains, pleasant landscaping and the small in ground pool is there. A moveable fence surrounds the pool making it uninviting. We did not use the pool. Nice large bathroom with jalousie window... more
