I was surprised to get such a nice motel for $135. Didn't know what to expect but it was clean, nice pool, walk to everything yet not in the middle of the hussle bussle - just on the edge of the village. Basic rooms, clean without coffee maker. Office has coffee in the morning but not until 8 am opening. I was unable to keep the windows open due to the smokers on the covered porch in neighboring rooms. Office staff helpful at times. Parking was convenient for Bar Harbor shopping and restaurants. more

Great location for walking through town. Good restaurants nearby, especially the Cafe This Way for breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable, with free wifi that reached the rooms. There's a swimming pool and the staff is enthusiastic to help you make the most of your time with maps and information. more

My wife and I arrived on a Sunday with a confirmation for 5 nights. The email confirmation came only a few days before we were scheduled to arrive; we had made reservations only a week or so in advance. Good value stay in Bar Harbour, Motel staff very friendly - place was spotless, and appreciated the chance to check / view the room prior to taking the room - given previous experience of staying in a pit the night before! Stayed here for a couple of days while in Bar Harbor. Traveled here on a motorcycle and found the staff to be very motorcycle friendly. As a previous guest stated, rags were tied to the bike in the morning for our use. Location was close enough to walk to everything and a deli that also serves breakfast across the street... more
