We stayed at the Acacia House for a weekend in March, wanting to get away and enjoy the beauty of the island before the masses arrive. The off-season rates were very reasonable and included a phenomenal breakfast - they are open to the public for breakfast during the off-season, and are clearly a popular spot for good reason. (We estimated... More

My wife and I spent the first of four nights in Maine at Acacia House Inn, and it was definitely the right choice of lodging in Bar Harbor. It's an old house with the sloping floors you'd expect, but that's not a negative in my book - it adds to the charm. The bathroom was much larger than I had... More

One of my favorite places in the whole country. Love this place and I can't wait to go back.the best breakfast I have ever had. It's a stress less vacation. Wonderful, the Acadia park is a wonderful place for hiking and it is so beautiful. We spent every day there. Then back to Bar Harbor for lobster in all the wonderful... More

While spending my winter in Bar Harbor past couple months, I had the pleasure of visiting the Acacia House Inn for breakfast a few times. To locals, Acacia House Inn is open for breakfast during the winter season. The summertime though is only open to the guest. Anyway, this has to be my #1 breakfast spot in Bar Harbor. First,... More

The B&B is located on High Street in the centre of town so restaurants, bars, shops etc. are all within easy walking distance. We stayed in the annexe in an upstairs room. It was similar to a Motel room, but was clean, well equipped and a good size. Our hosts, Ralph and Anna were very friendly and offered lots of... More

A wonderful place to stay. Everything is within walking distance. The owners of the "Acacia House Inn" were very helpful and friendly. The Inn was very clean and breakfast was great. Bar Harbor, Maine, was one of the best places to visit while driving along the New England Coastline. Thanks, Acacia House Inn for a beautiful memory. Melitta Robinson, High... More

Greetings from Miami. My wife and I were celebrating our 7th anniversary and this was our first bed and breakfast. We were excited and the Acacia House lived up to every single expectation. For starters, the B&B is very nice, spacious, and feels like home. As previous guest mentioned, Ralph and Anna are very nice hosts and respectful of your... More

I spent 4 nights at the Acacia House Inn the last week of September 2012. It was the first Bed and Breakfast that I have ever stayed in and it was a wonderful experience. Ralph and Anna were great hosts. I was traveling alone and Ralph carried my bags up to my room for me. I received a tour of... More

The Acacia House Inn was a great choice for our 3 night stay in Bar Harbor. It was a very easy walk to the waterfront--I was up early each morning and easily walked to see the cruise ships arrive daily. The rooms (rooms 1 and 4 for us) were warmly decorated and clean, had comfortable beds and linens, and the... More

My friend and I spent a very pleasant night here. The owners were friendly, the inn was very clean, breakfast was good, bed was super comfy, shower had good pressure ... all good! Oh, and they served really good coffee. I would recommend Acacia House to anyone.
