Castlemaine met all our expectations, roomy, good breakfast, plenty of on-site parking, but the staff leaped out because we needed help beyond the norm. We were greeted personally upon arrival and made to feel welcome and special. The Secret Room was our hide away and we found it charming with all the amenities we needed or wanted. The room was large and beautiful, albeit the mattress was extremely hard ('firm" isn't the word for it!). It is located off the beaten path, so it was quiet with no vehicle traffic to speak of.
