This was my husband's and my first solo vacation in 13+ years. The Heathwood Inn is set back from the road, and is convenient to Bar Harbor, Acadia NP, and SW Harbor. Karen (innkeeper) has created lovely gardens around the inn, which attract hummingbirds, butterflies, and exotic moths.
