We chose this hotel, as we don't care for B&B's, and liked the location. We stayed four nights over Memorial Day weekend, and it was a pleasant stay. The rooms are large, with a very nice bathroom. There is a good breakfast included, which had french toast and other assorted items. Although not filthy by any means, the rooms could... more

Take the Acadia Escape Package. It includes a dinner for two at the Reading Room - Bar Harbor Inn. Excellent food, our bill would have been $115 otherwise. The Acadia tour that is included was very good as well. The hotel is clean, updated and the staff are very helpful. more

We visited a week before they closed in the "Off season" on a wonderful package. It was one of the best hotels I've stayed in. The rooms were wonderful and clean. Even though just a few guest were staying at the hotel, breakfast was excellent and the hotel was very clean. The hotel staff was super friendly and helpful. At... more

Spacious rooms with breakfast included and in an excellent location. It is right on Hwy 3 so roadway noise is present but not to the point of being problematic. Breakfast buffet is adequate ... coffee is pretty bad but I found that to be the case in all of Bar Harbor (incl. coffee shops) which is not so much a... more

The staff at this hotel really go above and beyond the call of duty. During most hotel stays I deal with the front desk upon checking in and sometimes checking out, but honestly I usually just leave and take my bill. I never encounter or talk to housekeeping but something about the staff at the Acadia Inn had me speaking... more

My wife and I stayed here for three nights. Priced right for someone not looking to stay in luxury. Just up the road from Bar Harbor Center. Near the entrance to Acadia National Park. We had a great room on second floor. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent continental breakfast in the morning. Staff was courteous and helpful. Recommended a number... more

We traveled to Acadia with some friends for a quick weekend getaway and had a great time. The rooms were spacious, clean and well kept. The breakfast was a treat in the morning and offered a wide variety of 'easy' breakfast items. The shuttle into town was so convenient i don't think we got in the car more than once.... more

I cannot say enough about our stay at the Acadia Inn! We booked for three nights on the 'famous package'. I was hesitant at first but when I sat down to think about it, the cost really seemed like a deal - although the reservationist did mention the price is different during peak times - I still found this to... more

We recently stayed at the Acadia Inn. It's about one mile from downtown Bar Harbor and a short distance to the entrance to Acadia National Park. The Island Explorer, a free shuttle bus, picks up at the hotel and drops you off at the Village Green in Bar Harbor. It ran every 30 minutes. We had a room with two... more

Stayed here a few years ago when the Acadia Inn was brand new. It was and is moderately priced, with a convenient location near town and Acadia National Park, not much in the way of frills, but a small fridge in the room, complimentary breakfast (all starch save for hard boiled eggs) guest laundry and helpful front desk staff made... more
