ask for a non smoking room. Also try to get a room on high floor levels as the hotel has a night club on 1st floor which make it a bit noisy... but very nice hotel, boutique stylish one. breakfast was very expensive, better get a coffee near by. More

The Clift is truly a treat. The hotel is classic boutique design and unique in every way. From the grand lobby to the elevators, this is one of the best design experiences you will have anywhere. Fantastic service from hotel staff, rooms were nicely decorated but a bit sparse - if you've stayed at other Morgans Group hotels you know what to expect. Common spaces were lovely and the bar was cozy and stylish. Location is nearly as much Tenderloin as Union Square, bit of a stroll from things. I'll definitely stay again. More
