Our first impression was a bit poor - when we arrived midafternoon the bar was closed and the door just had a phone number for service. Since we'd only just arrived in the country we didn't have a phone so we had to get the attention of the cleaner in the bar to call someone. But after that it was... More

Sleep over Sauce is awesome. It's a perfect location to drop your bags and explore away. The guys who run Sauce (the FANTASTIC restaurant below) are very customer service oriented (they even helped carry my bags up the stairs!). Once you make your reso, they email you a detailed description of policies and parking. There are several floors in this... More

Sleep Over Sauce was spacious, comfortable and convenient. The room was large, the bed comfortable, the great room with the 24 hour fruit, beverages, cereal, large TV and the free WiFi was convenient. The neighborhood allowed easy access to the local transportation and the owners and staff were friendly and relaxed. Why do I say they are customer service oriented,... More

Sleep Over Sauce is not quite a hotel, not quite a B&B. There's a dozen or so rooms over a restaurant, so when you check in you check in at the restaurant bar. Nate who checked us in was beyond awesome. Helpful and accommodating in every way possible, whether it was running outside to hold the hotel door open so... More

Stayed here in April 2013 A large room with two queen beds and a party sized bathroom with good quality supplies and nice touches for men & women. The 24 hour continental breakfast is outstanding. I loved the relaxed check in Very close to BART and MUNI lines. Some of the friendliest staff that I met when in California. The... More

I stayed at the sleep over sauce for a couple nights while visiting San Francisco. The pros: the rooms are quiet, the beds and bedding are really comfortable and they provide quality bathroom supplies. They're pretty well located on Gough near Market, which provides easy access to the BART and MUNI. The people who work there are really motivated to... More

Above a restaurant with a few rooms. No permanent front desk. Very friendly service. Room was good, could be a bit noisy, but not bad. All in all, a good place to stay ! Would be happy to stay again. All day cereal/fruit breakfast.

My husband and I stayed here on the first two nights of our trip to NoCal. This place reminded me of a really nice hostel with private bathrooms. The room was clean, the bed was comfy and we definitely had more room than I expected we would...the 24 hour continental breakfast was a nice, but unexpected perk too. There were... More

Stayed here for a couple of days whilst at a conference at Moscone Centre. The rooms are fine and usable. The breakfast is sufficient, but nothing to get excited about - bagels, juice and cream cheese. But their availability is appreciated none the less! However the walk from the subway station back to the hotel at night can be unnerving.... More

My room was comfortable (my mother and two kids and I stayed) as well as the beds. The common area felt like I was in a college dorm and drinks and continental type breakfast were available anytime. Better suited for young adult/college types. They need to sound-proof the small rooms so people can get a better night's rest. We stayed... More
