Upon arrival the hotel looks horrible, due to the location, however the rooms are rather adequate. The hallways, reception area etc are rather unclean. I agree with the comment of a reviewer before me that this is not really a boutique hotel - that doesn't mean it's bad, just a false description. They have tried to make it quirky with the Mark Twain references (e.g. quotations inscribed on the windows in the stairwell) but other than that it's your average hotel, albeit an individual... More

Do not get me wrong, Mark Twain is a nice place. And that's about it. Claiming it is "boutique" or "stylish" is clearly misleading.
