Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and used as a base to explore the sights. It is the usual Holiday Inn Express standard, you know what you are getting. Our room was a decent size, quite dated decor, furniture and bathroom, but for the time we spent in the room this did not really matter. There was free Wi... more

I booked this hotel based on the reviews on Tripadvisor. The hotel is very clean and looks new. I requested a quiet room and got a large room overlooking the internal courtyard which was very quiet and very clean. Housekeeping did a good job every day. There was a good choice of food available for breakfast every day and it... more

it's always hard finding a good value hotel in a big city, so i wasn't expecting to be wowed by this hotel, and upon staying there for 3 nights, i can safely say that there was nothing to wow us. however, it was clean, service was plesant and helpful (except for the horribly rude old man on the night shift... more

Stayed for 6 nights. Arrived at 11am. They had rooms ready and let us check in early. This was great, gave us time to relax a little after the flight and then hit the streets. The location is perfect. 2 blocks from the wharf. less than two blocks to the trolley and dable cars. Walgreens within a block, and Safeway... more

It is an average hotel, very well placed. Clean, wide rooms, although they don't have neither a frige, nor a mini bar. It has no restaurant, no room service. There are some ice and vending machines, some of them out of order, it's got a fitness center, two computers at the lobby with free high speed internet. Although it is... more

We are a family of 4 (with boys aged 11 & 7) and arrived at 11.30am after a 15 hour flight from Australia. The staff were only too happy to store all of our bags until our room was ready. This gave us time to have a look around the Fisherman's Wharf area and get some lunch. When we arrived... more

The rooms have a King size bed which is heaven after a long trip, the decor, the lobby are excellent, the breakfast area and food are fabulous myself and my wife filled our boots! Although there are many hotels in the Fisherman's Wharf area, we chose this hotel because we really like the Holiday Inn Express chain and have stayed in many throughout the US. Besides the great location, I guess the biggest draw would be their incredible free breakfast - not just the standard cereals, but scrambed eggs, bacon, etc. Considering we found... more
