Competent as you would expect from a Four Seasons hotel but they were lacking a few extras to really warrant the prices they are charging. Our room was clean but the fuse kept blowing in the bathroom (which they fixed properly the second time) and the loo also needed fixing (it didnt flush properly) again that was fixed for good... Outstanding Four Seasons San Francisco service made my experience better than five star. The night I checked in the reception desk made sure everything was satisfactory. The restaurant prepared a light dinner for me and was outstanding. At breakfast the next morning all I wanted was some Greek yogurt and berries and even though it was not a regular item... More

For a city like SFO I would have expected some really luxury hotels in the city centre but this was it. We drove up the PCH1 from Dana Point to celebrate our wedding anniv with a 3 nt stay in SFO. As a professional travel agent I have stayed at many luxury hotels worldwide and I was very disappointed with... More

I've been staying at various Four Seasons for decades, but my more recent stays have been here. My review last year complained only about the need for the rooms to be redone: they're on the sterile side and a bit dated. But that is not of great moment. As with any review, it reflects the needs and preferences of the... More

I have stayed here many times over the past five years, and wish I had more excuses to go there. The rooms are always excellent, and the in-house restaurant is, well, I usually avoid hotel restaurants but not here (o.k., most Four Seasons hotels have excellent restaurants). The biggest complaint is catching a cab or driving in the area, but... More

One of the best things about the Four Seasons chain is that virtually all their properties manage to provide a sense of solitude and privacy for travelers, even when the hotel is at full occupancy. The Four Seasons San Francisco is no exception. This hotel is an oasis of tranquility in the center of a very busy part of a... More

The Four Seasons is obviously a great brand, and it works very well in most places. At the end of the day, this San Francisco version just felt a little too generic and corporate even for a Four Seasons.....and it made me a little nuts that we were paying over $600/day for a standard room and they charged and $20/day... The Four Seasons in San Francisco is a good as it gets. As always, wonderful staff but also a fantastic room that was beautifully appointed. The bathroom and emenities just wonderful. The restaurant was particularly good - wonderful selection, terrific ambience.

I stayed in the Four Seasons SF this past weekend with my mom. The hotel itself is lovely and in a perfect location. Even though the hotel is on a main street, you would never know it-- our room was quiet and lovely. The staff is friendly and attentive. I found the front desk employees, the bellmen and concierges incredibly... More

We stayed the weekend of 4/12/13 to 4/14/13. We paid $325 per night (plus tax and parking) for a standard room. Room was very clean. Bed was about as comfortable a bed as I have ever slept in. LOVED the blackout curtains - kept the room perfectly dark and quiet. Bathroom had a separate shower and soaking tub. This made... More
