Please get there at a decent time or you have to use some strange night check in window. It's a decent hotel for the price and it's close to Fisherman's Wharf and Golden Gate Bridge. We have stayed there everytime we travel to San Fran, only because other hotels can be pretty pricy. more

This is one of many similar looking motels on Lombard street. It's convenient for the excellent MUNI public transport system, but please don't think you are near the famous "Twisty" bit of Lombard St. That's miles away. I have never left a review before but I am doing so on this hotel. The hotel does not have complimentary parking or breakfast as advertised. The parking is first come first serve and the breakfast is a muffin and the most disgusting coffee I have ever tasted. I had to spit it out as soon as I tasted it!... more

I spent 3 nights here and it was a nice comfortable stay indeed. The first night was mediocre due to an issue with the bathroom, but once the manger was told he took care of it right away, and was very gracious and apologetic...one can't ask for more than that right? Just back from my stay in room 210. Nice room but the back wall (where your head sits on the pillow at bed time) sits right up against the outdoor seating for a bar called "The Tipsy Pig" that faces Chestnut Street. It is LOUD until about midnight or 1am. I just drank enough wine that sleep was easy. :)... more
