Stayed at Orchard Garden, Bush Street, for two nights in July 2008. Following comments from some Trip Advisor members, we requested high rooms at back of hotel to avoid street noise. Veru nice hotel and well located. People were very friendly and helpful. Price is very reasonnable knowing it is down town San Francisco. I would recommend staying in this place, plus it is also environmental friendly. A Drink at the terrasse is also much recommended. more

The Orchard Garden is a small hotel with a clean decor that leans more towards modern, but a traditionalist would still feel comfortable in. It is a perfect location. You can even take Bart from the airport and ride to the Montgommery Station, walk 4 blocks and you're there. An oasis awaits. Enjoy! more

What a great find!!! We took our first trip to SF over spring break and loved the hotel. The staff is incredibly helpful, the rooms are small but very nice, and I love the idea of a "green" hotel. Wonderful boutique hotel right in the heart of San Francisco. Close to Union Square, Chinatown, trolley cars. Staff is top notch. Rooms were tastefully appointed (nice having an iPod dock) and a large bathroom! Look forward to our next visit. more
