I would recommend to anyone staying at the Parsonage! We stayed there for 4 days and we had a great experience. John and Joan welcome you warmly and it is a very lovely experience to stay at their home. The Parsonage has an amazing architecture and the decoration of our room was beautiful. Staying in the Haight district is really... More

My husband and I went to San Francisco for an extended weekend trip. Upon arrival, we immediately were charmed by the lovely Victorian home, our warm and accommodating hosts Joan and John, and their precious dog Pilar. The Victorian home is a wonderful blend of historic elegance - marble fireplaces, beautiful ceiling medallions, and period antiques - and modern comforts... More

From the moment we walked through their front door at The Parsonage, our hosts Joan and John made us feel right at home. Our third host, their wonderful, friendly dog Pilar will be looking for some affection from you in no time. Their Second Empire style Victorian house has been lovingly preserved, with most of the original detail in place,... More

My friend and I stayed with John and Joan when we were visiting my daughter in SF. We spent three delightful nights at The Parsonage. Loved the accommodations, the breakfasts and the company, including their dog, Pilar. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. The home is lovely and the location is walkable to buses and the civic center area.... More

We stayed with John and Joan in September for a San Francisco long weekend before we headed to Napa. September is the best month weatherwise to visit! Warm sunny days and cooler evenings. From the reservation process to our departure it was a great experience. Spoil yourself and have Joan arrange transportation to the Parsonage if you are arriving by... More

My husband and I hadn't been to San Francisco together in many years, so we decided to do a 4-day weekend there in early December. I found The Parsonage online, and we're so glad I did. Everything about our stay was just right! First of all, we like the location, because we're diehard walkers. Though the public transit options are... More

My wife and I decided to visit San Fransisco for our 25th wedding anniversary. Our preference was to find a pleasant B&B in which to stay instead of a large hotel. We came upon The Parsonage and right from the outset in making the reservations, to our experience in spending several nights there we only have positive things to say!... More
