Room too small, single elevator for entire hotel and waaaaaay toooo slow. Water pressure too low, and luke warm. Had to use narrow stairway to get to our 4th floor room. Location hard to beat for the price. Friendly and very helpful staff. Overnight parking $35.

We stayed here for three nights. A few points. 1) it needs upgrading... New carpets, bathrooms etc 2) the lift is painfully slow ( but that's not the end of the world) 3) the staff are friendly ( even though the receptionist seemed to have his " homies" hanging out in the reception with him for almost our entire stay!)... The major benefit of this hotel is its location being on Powell street just south of union square. There isn't much else worth noting. Rooms are small but has everything you would need.
