Just stayed there for one night, as other said about the construction, this is still far from ending. The restaurant seems to be done, but not the lobby, the lobby use part of where the old restaurant was. I heard from the checkin, only a small number of rooms had done, at least not mine. Wifi totally not working the... more

The hotel is great. We received a really warm welcome and all of the staff very very helpful. The rooms are large and comfortable and very clean. The area is a little sketchy but once you get down the main street only a few blocks away it's fine. The hotel is currenly renovating but we were not disturbed at all.... more

The bed was uncomfortable, and I did not sleep well. Everything looked old and dated, except for the lobby which was under renovation. The location is close to the civic center, where there are lots of homeless around. I was there for business, and I picked this hotel based on proximity to where I needed to go. If you're visiting... more

This was my second stay at this hotel. They are in the middle of a major renovation. The room we stayed in had upgraded bedding. It was so nice, not what you would expect from a Holiday Inn. The beds had plush pillows, high threadcount sheets, and down alternative comforters. If you are going to be staying there soon be... more

The hotel was selected as part of a trip planner service (Orbitz, Expedia, Priceline, etc.) and noted that the hotel lobby and restaurant were under remodeling/construction. I did not let this effect my choice since I wanted location to Market St and the 'F' Line street cars, BART and the city attractions. What was not noted is that the 14th... more

We stayed here for just one night. The best part of the hotel was it was across the street from the Orpheum Theatre where we went to see Wicked. This hotel is undergoing serious renovations. If you can get over the construction, it is very nice. It will be beautiful when they are done. We stayed on the 9th floor... more

I stayed at the Holiday Inn alone to attend a conference. The best part of this hotel is its location to transportation. Instead of taking a shuttle from the airport for $15, I took the BART for $5.35. The BART station is just steps from this hotel - great. The bus to Fisherman's Wharf or anywhere else is only $1.25... more

This tired old hotel is presently undergoing a big time renovation. The new lobby is where the restaurant used to be and the guest rooms are next in line to be renovated. Hotel is clean and well run but the rooms are getting worn out. New rooms promise new baths and windows so that should be a major improvement. Location... more

The hotel was decent, it was the neighborhood. This hotel is in the bad part of San Fransisco. Don't go walking around at night, lots of homeless and druggies in the neighborhood. Did not feel safe! checked out a day early and drove back to L.A. more

Room was noisy due to ill fitting double glazed panels. The emergency services love to use their sirens even in the early hours when nothings about and we heard all of them, clearly! Parking expensive at $30 a day but maybe thats the going rate. Room was clean and not a bad size but it needs updating. We found the... more
