I stay at this hotel at least 5-6 times a year. The location in unbeatable right next to Union Square, a bit noisy but I think that's what can be expected if you want to stay smack downtown! The hotel just went through a major renovation and the impression now is light, modern and open. Above average service for a... more

We had a large, well appointed room on the 19th floor so it was astounding that the noise level was so high. You could hear sirens, drag cars, police chases, etc. at all hours. The amenities include earplugs but you can't sleep with those in your ears. Also, whoever picks out the music played in the common areas must be... more

We booked a club level king room at this hotel for 5 nights. The room was great, we had a great view of downtown, we were on the 23rd floor. The room also had a LCD TV and had a built in outlet to plug in your one AV equipment (RCA/SVideo/VGA/MP3) and watch it on the TV, great for families... more

Upon checking into the hotel we find out that our room we booked through expedia got "bumped" and the one king size bed we reserved got changed into two full size beds. Our room was cleaned the second day but the garbage, which was over flowing wasn't taken out, when we came back the garbage fell over spilling all over... more

Dear Troyathome, I am very sorry to hear that you had such a disappointing experience on your recent visit to the Parc 55. I will share your comments with our housekeeping and front desk departments. It sounds like we made a few mistakes on our end which we wil most certainly correct. Thanks for the feedback. Sincerely, Management

Service was good enough, but indifferent. Blaring music greeted us as we got off the elevator, which made us want to leave as soon as possible. The manager explained the music selection and level was to wake people up - even at 10:00 p,m,? Their restaurant service was indifferent, robotic and food mediocre. The best part of this experience was... more

Dear tcake1, Thank you for taking the time to write about your recent stay at the Parc 55. I have already shared your wonderful comments about our housekeeping staff with that department. I will follow-up with the restaurant team here and I also apologize for the loudness of the music in our public areas. Best Regards, Management

If you can stay for less than $100/night, then this hotel is fine. There's nothing disgusting or unsafe about. However, if you are looking for a nice place to stay for $100 or more per night, I would choose somewhere else. First, on Tuesday night around 9 p.m., I called for a wake up call and no one answered. I... more

This is a nice looking hotel (W-esque) hiding what's underneath an old decrepit building. When I turned the tap on in tub, the water ran brown for 20 seconds. When I turned on the tap in the sink, it spewed water all over my suit. The walls are PAPER THIN. I could hear everything happening in the halls or next... more

Dear MarkP_9, Our apologies that you did not enjoy your stay with us. As we finalize our recent renovation, it sounds like you experienced several of the effects of this. I will follow-up with the front desk as you should have received a letter alerting you to the overnight water shutdown which took place during your stay for necessary maintenance....

I booked this hotel at the last minute and was very happy with it. It is right across the street from the Westfield shopping center and the Powell Street BART station; quite a convenient location. The hotel itself is very modern and clean. It felt very safe, which was important to me as a female traveling alone. When I arrived... more

Stayed here for 5 nights end Sept in a Club room. Firstly, it was a breeze to locate and adjacent to the Powell St BART station, so no taxi necessary from airport. I couldn't imagine a better location, as its opposite Westfield SF shopping centre and right on the Powell st cable car stop and Union Square shopping district. Choosing... more
