The San Remo is a treasure. The staff are helpful and friendly; the hotel is affordable & very conveniently located within walking distance of Fisherman's Wharf, Chinatown, and North Beach. The rooms are cozy and individually decorated in Victorian style. The shared bathrooms & showers are well kept, and I've never had to wait to use these facilities.
