I stayed at the Hampton inn in Del rio for one night May 16. This is probably the nicest place to stay in Del rio and its very safe. Border patrol is right across the street. This hotel was in a good location and room was very clean. The main problem with the room was the bathroom. The tile on the floor was like ice when it got wet. Not a very good design. I also had to perform maintenance on the toilet to get it to work properly. I expect a hotel of this caliber... more

This was the second time I was sent to Del Rio, TX on business and finally was able to stay here. The hotel is often sold out, and there is a good reason - it is the best place to stay in Del Rio. The rooms have big bathrooms with ceramic tile, and they even provide a little lap desk... more

Our family of four stayed here on the way to Big Bend National Park. I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is quite new and well done. We had two queen beds- comfortable with nice linens. I stayed at the Hampton just 3 weeks after the grand opening. The hotel is clean and bright like many other Hamptons.
