We stayed in the Carriage Suite (upstairs) as a weekend getaway from wedding planning. It was peaceful, cozy and wonderful. Breakfasts were very tasty, and Tony was able to accommodate my dietary needs. The B&B's location is excellent -- a healthy walk from the historic lower town of Harper's Ferry.

Everything was going pretty well. Plenty of room to stretch out in a homey setting. And then it happened. Bedtime. Worst mattress that I have seen or felt in a long time. My poor back. Time to "spring" for a new one!! Breakfast was great, in spite of my aching back and poor sleep.

My husband and I spent the weekend of our wedding in the upstairs suite. Very comfortable and rustic. Loved the privacy of the cottage and the decor was nice.
