My wife and I stayed at the Sorrel Ranch as part of a trip put together by Western River Adventures. We don't generally stay at a place this fancy but were pleased with the service. The food was great, we had the buffet breakfast and Dinner and it was outstanding. more

good point: the really nice place: in the middle of nowhere. The area is peaceful and beautiful. Your feel a little cow boy in you. you do not have enough of your two eyes to admire and dream. And your are not too far from the activities of Moab (17 miles , good road) But certainly overpriced. The basis room... more

We didn't stay at the inn but ate at their restaurant. It was very good with all aspects handled as a high end city restaurant and that includes the high price. If you're looking for a special dining place in Moab, this is it. more

First of all, if you haven't seen Moab, it is gorgeous and worth a trip. The setting of Sorrel could not be more beautiful. It sits right on the Colorado River with stunning views of the burnt, red mountains surrounding the resort. The massive red, stone formations are particularly beautiful where the resort is. The resort is a remarkably beautiful... more

We had lunch one day and then went back for dinner on our last day in Moab. The service was fantastic and friendly. The food was excellent too. The grounds were well groomed. It is an absolutely beautiful setting. more

We stayed two nights in this hotel after three nights at the Sunflower Inn B&B in Moab. The resort was certainly scenic and rooms were nice. A solid 4*. Similar to other travelers, my concern was with the pricing. This resort is assuming a consumer with no price sensitivity who is willing to accept less than 5* service and accomodations.... more

Went to Sorrel River as part of my 40 birthday extravaganza and was very disappointed. The location and views were great but the services and staff was less then one would expect from a $500 a night hotel. On the way home from Denver, we stayed at the Hampton Inn for $109 a night and I have to say, we... more

After having just drove from the Four Seasons in Scottsdale we were looking forward to staying here. Basically the rooms were well done, the people were nice, and the views were great. However, there was just not service to call this a high class hotel, and the management just felt you were lucky enough to stay there. They could care... more

We just stayed for 3 nights. Location is wonderful, peaceful, although the drive into town gets a little long. Our room had a very comfortable bed. The gas fireplace did not work properly, and although we reported this on the first night, it was not fixed. The shower was not caulked properly and leaked onto the floor. One very strange... more

Im a few years late with my review and stayed at the Sorrel River Ranch Resort back in 2006. Incredible views, quite, and our room was right on the river facing the red rock cliffs. Its about 10 minutes outside of Moab but its nice to get away from the hussle and bussle of the tourist time of year in... more
