We arrived around 12 noon on Friday, 10/9/09 and were able to check in early; we were assigned a top floor room as I had requested when booking in March! The ladies recognized us as Priority Club Members and gave us our 2 free bottles of water and a magazine with restaurants and things to do in the Moab area.... more

I stayed one night during a business trip, and the hotel was comfortable. About what you'd expect from the chain. I think anything in Moab is going to be a little bit grubby given people generally come there to go outside and get dirty on the biking and hiking trails, but this hotel was pretty nice. MUCH nicer than the... more

For some reason almost all the hotels in town were booked. This one ended up being the lowest rate of all the hotels we checked, and is brand new. It had an excellent free breakfast. I'll stay at this hotel again the next time I go through Moab for sure. more

There is nothing about this property that would make it stand out possitively. The room was average and the bedding was good. The staff was poorly trained and spent much of the time smoking at the entrance of the building. I would rather stay closer in to town on my next visit. more

I have read other reviews and although the hotel was not always great, our experience was worse than most. We discovered (late at night and past the time when we would want to move to another room) that the dead bolt on our door did not work. It appeared that the hole for the bolt was not properly aligned and... more

It is a nice hotel, but little bit far from downtown of the Moab. Not bad to access to the Arches. You can have continental breakfast and be able to go to Arches. It is really close the Arches National Park. Also there is a laundry room. So you can wash your clothes. more

I was extremely happy with our stay at the HIE - Moab! I used a free night redemption one night, and reserved a king suite for the other two nights we stayed at this hotel. We were in town to do some hiking in Arches, some mountain biking, and general sight seeing as part of our honeymoon. I'm a fan... more

Please do youself a favor and do NOT stay here. The room we reserved was not available when we arrived, hmmm over booking. Half the lightbulbs did not work and the room they put us in was not refreshed daily with supplies. There was a used bar of soap in the shower from the previous people, so that tells me... more

Brand new hotle justa mile or so north of the town of Moab, about 2 miles from the park entrance. It was very nice, like any of the other newer HI Expresses I have stayed at, but just beware it is about 40% or so higher priced then your typical HI Express. Check-in quick and efficiant even with a tour... more

Holiday Inn in Moab was more than we expected. Good location--outskirts of town which made it quiet, but easy drive to restaurants and activities. Great full breakfast! Hotel clerks were most helpful and cheery with any info one might need. Room was clean as was entire hotel. Has free internet, which was a great help. more
