stayed here for 4 days in january while on a trip to the evergaldes. it's location is very convenient to highway 1, the florida turnpike, evergaldes national park and local stores and restaurants. the nightly rate was only $35, much cheaper than similarly dumpy motels in homestead. the room was large and had a microwave, fridge and 70 channel cable tv. air conditioner worked but the heater didn't. i'd recommend looking at the room and checking to see that everything works before paying- they have a no refund policy. negatives were that there was no daily maid service of any kind and the room was dusty, fridge and microwave were filthy but worked. owners obviously don't care about cleanliness. but for the price, the room was as good as rooms at other dumpy homestead motels that charge twice as much, such as knights inn , budget host, country hearth, etc. more
