We were very disappointed with our stay at this hotel and would have moved if there had been rooms available in another location. The outside grounds of the building were dirty and there were cigarette butts and trash in the corners of the walkways. I found this Days Inn to be a pleasant place to stay while visiting Everglades National Park. I was in Homestead for two nights. The first night I stayed at the Inn of Homestead, which was horrible. Well, this was a risk that didn't pay off. We got the room as a one night stop while traveling down to the Keys. I have never stayed at a Days Inn, so this may be what is expected. YUCK! Nasty...roachs in room, towels were dirty and room smelled very bad. Beware of this gross roach motel...should be $20.00 per night. Smelled like mold too....I coulden't sleep all night. Coulden't wait for the sun to come up so we could leave. more

After reading the reviews before our travel, we were very skeptical. The hotel reeks of cigarette smoke and mold and the towels were torn into shreds. We went to the Days Inn in February 2007 and stayed for 3 nights. The breakfast was pretty good compared to some other places in Florida where we stayed. The rooms were basic but clean, staff was friendly. It was a lot better than I expected. more
