Went for our anniversary. Location was perfect. Views were awesome. Service was exceptional. Will be back often. Scott is a great cook for a retired highway patrolman. Reese is a great host. Take a short walk after dinner to the top of the mountain for even better views. Great to get away from the noise and crowds in the city.... More

This is a fabulous place to stay. It is well out of town and you need to follow Scotts instructions carefully. The road is no problem ( we had standard hire car) although I would recommend you get there in daylight if you can. The last 200-300 yards are a bit steeper and a bit more uneven but still no... I've just returned to this wonderful lodge in the fall season and I am still impressed by the overall beauty of the property, the views and the wonderful services from Scott and Reese. The road from town is in great shape and easy to navigate. If you are coming from the usual hectic pace of city life this is your... More

Please stay anywhere but here. We were fooled by all the positive reviews and booked a 3 night stay only to find the supposed dirt road to be an inaccessible gravel / rock track which could potentially cause serious damage to cars. No refund offered by owner - stay away from these poor business practices, there are MUCH better options... More

The website clearly states the reservation and cancellation policy. In cases of family emergencies and illnesses, Sawtooth Mtn Lodge B&B has always granted full refunds for guest. Some of the most beautiful places in Colorado are on dirt and gravel roads. At 10,000 ft elevation into the mountains these are the roads that you will find. All guest are aware... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Scott and Reece (the dog) and would echo other writers in suggesting that you stay more than one night, as one definitely did not seem long enough. Scott's hospitality was exemplary and his cuisine delicious - our 3 course dinner was the best we had whilst we were in the US. We loved the... More

We had an absolutely wonderful, completely relaxing experience at Scott's. We stayed in Beau's room which was spacious and comfy and had a private deck with an incredible view. Scott was so kind and informative during our stay, giving us lots of tips about where to go and what to do. He also let us take his sweet dog Reese... More

Scott's lodge is a beautiful getaway that warrants more than one night's stay. I wish I had had more time because the area is gorgeous and the hospitality wonderful. Don't miss the opportunity to have dinner, check out the stars from the deck and take a nice hike right out the front door. Scott is a wonderful host, a great... More

The views are stupendous. Stayed in Beau's room with our own private deck over Labor Day weekend. Couldn't have asked for a more restful, peaceful, serene place. Hiking available right outside the door; no need to drive to a trail head. Scot is a great chef with Reese a wonderful companion. So wonderful to escape the "hurly/burly" of Boulder. Have... More

We have been to dozens of B&Bs throughout the U.S. and Great Britain, and this ranks #1 in our book! The views are spectacular, and the accommodations and food are superb. Most importantly, we were able to relax and escape all the worries that inspired this trip into the Colorado Rockies (from Denver). The B&B proprietor, Scott, is pure professional... More
