I didn't realize until we checked in that they had confirmed a queen-size bed instead of the king-size I requested. There were absolutely no brochures or pamphlets of any kind in the lobby about local area attractions, of which there are many, including the Biltmore House. The hotel does not provide shampoo or hair dryers unless you request one, and... more

I had a much better stay with the Extended Stay this time then back in Dec. I met the 2 new Managers of the Hotel! These two are willing to make changes to this hotel as I could tell talking to them! The ROOMS are WAY MUCH cleaner then the last time I stayed there! I would tell everyone to... more

Friend and I planned a weekend trip to Asheville and thought that the Extended Stay would be a nice central location and a decent hotel. The location is excellent but the hotel needs quite a bit of work to bring it up to snuff. We paid about $100 a night and the first thing we found were two roaches in... more

This is the third Extended Stay I've been to. The others were great. This one was in pretty rough shape. I checked in at midnight. The front desk closes at 11:00PM so you have to call someone to open the door. The woman was friendly but clueless (and said so). I got my room key and checked out my room:... more

I was a bit concerned about staying here after reading the couple of negative reviews, but Asheville was booked solid for a Saturday night and the next best option would have been $100 more. I was surprised when we drove up to see a new looking building. The young lady at the front desk was extremely nice. I had phoned... more

I am pretty easy going when it comes to travel, I don't ask for much, a clean room, clean sheets, and a clean bathroom. This place had none of those. The reason we were staying there was because it was pet friendly. If you have pets hopefully they won't be as scared as our poor dog was, I think he... more

Just returned from a weekend stay in Asheville. I found the Extended Stay America hotel to be a pleasant surprise. After reading the previous reviews on this board, I was a little nervous about booking a room there. Since I decided to make my trip at the last minute & it was a holiday weekend, I was left with few... more

What a depressing, shabby place. Very poor value for money..$100 a night!! First room which was non smoking..stank of smoke. Then we realized that the staff took their cigarette breaks right under two of the non- smoking bedrooms and it drifted into the rooms. They also yapped and chatted under same rooms at 11:30 at night. We and others complained.... more

Very good location in the centre of everything. The hotel has a kitchen and is located 5 minutes from Asheville across a tunnel. I've been there for 1 week and I've got a good fare for that period. The only problem I've suffered was that hotel decided a re-carpeting of rooms during my stay and they made a lot of... more

The ExtendedStay on Tunnel Rd. served our needs and might yours. We were to be in Asheville for two weeks, exploring the area and looking at real estate. And we wanted to keep our expenses down by cooking some of our meals ourselves. This facility worked out OK, with minimal kitchen equipment (two electric burners, a microwave and refrigerator, no... more
