The price is right, ($100 avg) good location, great breakfast. The hotel was clean and quiet (except for the A/C, but it's a steady drone, so no problem--it actually helps drown out extraneous noise). We will definitely stay there again. more

This is a great little place for the business or pleasure traveler. We stayed here for about two weeks while visiting our son. The hotel property is conveniently located just off of I40 is a great starting point for all local destinations near Asheville and Hendersonville. The staff here is super. Especially helpful were Pearl Fisher and the lovely Juanita,... more
The hotel seemed like it had not been updated since the 80's. My non-smoking room smelled like smoke and so did the corridors. While I was mainly disappointed with this hotel because it had cost more than it was worth, I think I would still have been disappointed if it had cost half as much. more
Very nice Days Inn. Very clean, smells nice, elegant, esp. compared to some other Days Inns we've stayed in. Fridge in our room was built-in under the sink. Roomy bathroom. We had a nice desk and elegant furniture in the room too. Because the rooms have internal doors accessible by elevator we could not park in front of our room,... more
I booked this hotel online because it's in a points network that I'm currently in, plus it was pretty close the Orange Peel in Asheville. I read other reviews here and the only really bad thing was the train (the tracks are located right behind the hotel). So, I thought I would give it a try. On my online reservation,... more
This Days Inn on Tunnel Road was quite the surprize. The room was clean, and the price was reasonable, the hot breakfast buffet was filling, typical scrabble eggs, sauage, and grits, but the also included a nice fruit salad. The location is excellent. Near public transportation, lots of places to eat, and the Mall. The Staff was pleasant, helpful, and... more
We enjoyed our stay at this Days Inn. The room was nice and clean and had a lovely view of the mountains. We particularly enjoyed the free wireless high speed internet access and the continental breakfast. I would recommend this room to the traveler looking for a place to recharge. more
We did a three weeks trip through TN, NC, SC, GA an Florida an stayed in a lot of different Hotels. This one was definitly the worst of all, although we are regular guests in Days Inn or Hampton Inn Hotels. We think that this hotel didn`t reach the standard of all the others. Although we`d made a reservation for... more
This hotel is just average. It was fairly noisy between the weird noise coming from the AC, the train that goes by several times per day and the kids inthe hall. It was a little overpriced and in need of some TLC. I would probably go for the brand new Quality Inn across the street next time. more
The front rooms of the motel are very noisy with street traffic ALL the time. The back rooms have an active train track less than 50 feet away. The whole place seems to sway when a train goes by AND blows. The pool and breakfast and big pillows are nice. The staff is average. Our room was VERY musty and... more
