My Mom found this place and thought it would have something for everyone in our family. Boy, was she right!!! The setting was beautiful, the owners were super hospitable, and the location seemed remote and private, yet was within minutes of stores, restaurants, etc. I couldn't have imagined a better place! I can't wait to go again. I wish I... more

I met two friends from Australia in Asheville recently. Quite by chance, I found Willow Winds online after finding out we all wanted our own bedrooms and didn't want to pay luxury hotel prices. This unique property includes 20+ rustic cabins ranging in size from 1 to 3 bedrooms. We were in one of the original, but renovated, 3-bedroom/2 baths... more

I wanted something special for our ten year anniversary & was not disappointed! The atmosphere was serene. The amenities were fabulous. Hot tub on the back porch. w/d in the cabin. The location was so convenient without being in the middle of it! Wide selection of movies to borrow. I sure hope to return some day! more

Had 4 nights in one of the luxury 'cabins'.which was wonderfully appointed and very comfortable. The owners were so helpful and friendly which is important when one doesn't know the area. Although we did not have time to indulge in the different games, it was nice to see that they were available. All the 'cabins' are very private, in woodland... more

When four adults, whose ideas of roughing it range from upscale hotel to tent camping and trail running in the deep woods, all say that this was 'the best vacation ever' you know you have found the perfect place. These beautiful cabins are in the woods with privacy and access to the Mountain to Sea Trail. They are also a... more

I booked my stay at Willow Winds for 6 nights primarily because of the extremely high reviews on Trip Advisor. My visit definitely lived up to these lofty expectations. The location was fantastic...it's a convenient 10 minutes drive from downtown Asheville (although it feels a world apart due to the secluded, wooded setting). It rained the majority of my stay... more

Thanks to TripAdvisor and the comments of previous guests we found this little gem. The comments of other guests are right on: clean, quiet, roomy, fun. Our 2-1/2 year old granddaughter (and her parents) loved all the sports/games available, especially filling and hurling water balloons from the water balloon forts. We were close enough to the Biltmore to come home... more

Willow winds is the ultimate place to stay for a relaxing vacation that combines the mountain experience in a luxury cabin, with the urban and cultural entertainement that Asheville and the Biltmore can offer. The location is perfect, a few miles from downtown Asheville and 5 minutes from the entrance to the Biltmore and the Biltmore Village shopping area. The... more
