Every aspect of this hotel is hit or miss. The staff is inconsistent. Checking in we had a "trainee" who apparently needs a lot more training – she was very rude and seemed to be bothered by our presence. The 2nd person we dealt with, when we had a problem with our room and asked for a new room after... more

This hotel has a wonderful location and is perfect if you want to go out in downtown Asheville. My biggest problem with this hotel, and the reason I could not recommend it to others, is that the linens don't fit the bed. We had a king sized bed that was fit with queen sized sheets. Needless to say, these didn't... more

Just got back from a trip to Asheville and although we loved the city and surrounding areas the hotel was very disappointing. It was dirty, our room was never adequately cleaned, the bathroom was very small with hardly any towels, there were only two pillows on a king bed that you had to fold in order to be thick enough,... more

I visit Asheville about twice a year and generally stay in B + Bs but was looking for something a bit less expensive and more centrally located than the B + Bs I've enjoyed before. Chose the Four Points for it's location and price but was happily surprised by it's comfort and decor. While rooms were not unique, they were... more

I spent five nights at the Sheraton Four Points while in town for a conference. My room was on the fifth floor, which is apparently for "Starwood Preferred Guests." I think this implies that the rooms are somewhat upgraded from the norm on the lower floors; it certainly means free cookies in the late afternoon. Positives: the bed was very... more

This hotel is a non-descript older property that has seen a few different incarnations (we stayed here at least 15 years ago when it was something else). Four Points has done a decent job with the upfit, but the physical structure of the building is no architectural wonder. Additionally, it appeared that there is only 1 elevator near the lobby... more

Asheville is not an inexpensive place to stay, so I was happy when I found this Four Points where I could use Starwood points. The hotel was easy to find and parking was plentiful. Check-in was quick and friendly. The room was sparkling clean and the bed was very comfortable. Internet service was reliable, and I liked the large flat-screen... more

Our chief complaint about this property was the complete and utter disregard for the advertised "smoke free premises. " We had to change rooms because the people in the adjacent room, the ones who walked in with a six pack of beer, were continually smoking. After complaints to the front desk and another hour of breathing the neighbor's smoke, we... more

We arrived early, around noon, and were pleasantly greeted by the front desk and even allowed to check in early. We had absolutely no problem with the staff, they were all great. Very helpful and courteous and more than willing to stop what they were doing to give us directions or ideas for dining. The hotel is located right off... more

Okay, I got a great deal ($150 total for two nights), but this property is NOT what the website would lead you to believe. First, the hotel is not new -- it is a refurbished late 60s/early 70s era Best Western. While most of the makeover is nice, there are tell-tale signs that reveal the age of the building (the... more
