After reading past reviews we were a bit anxious about staying. The front desk staff was excellent - very polite definitely southern hospitality at its best. we had no problems viewing the room before our stay, readily received extra pillows, and were happily given not only the directions requested to the nearest Walmart but also without asking offered directions to... more

Overnighted in Asheville after touring the Biltmore Estate. The front desk help wasn't the most friendly, but the rooms were comfy and clean. The breakfast offered some variety as well. I have noticed that the price of these hotels have started to go up in the last year. For the price we got, this hotel was a pretty good deal. more

We got a good rate here while in town to see the Biltmore. The staff was really friendly, our room was nice, big & clean and we enjoyed the indoor pool and breakfast in the morning. There were a lot of family friendly restaurants nearby and easy on/off the highway. more

No problems. No highlights either. After several days on the road, the coin-operated laundry facilities were welcome. Hotel was clean and comfortable with coffee always available near the front desk. Breakfast was adequate. more

We stayed at Country Inn and Suites this past weekend for an excursion to the Biltmore Estate. We had initially booked the jacuzzi suite for our stay, but the night before we left we received a phone call that the pumps were broken on the jacuzzi. We were offered a studio suite plus a 10% discount, which was fine. But,... more

My husband and I travel alot. We stay in alot of different properties, we're not loyalists to any one chain or property. That's why I feel so confident in my hat's off to this property. From the sincere friendliness at front desk (the mgr. called our room after we got settled to see if we needed anything) to the great... more

Stayed here for one night, was running a race downtown and it was only minutes away. The rooms could have been nicer. I thought the beds were a step below a lot of the other hotel chains that I stay in. I travel pretty regularly for business and this was the first time I had stayed at a country inn... more

This is an older simple hotel in a decent location. The staff was quite friendly. When inspecting our room we found 3 hairs (not ours) in the shower. Next, we spotted a piece of foil and a crumbling food object on the carpet near the bed. In the evening there is loud water hammer noise from neighboring rooms (showers &... more

This hotel was a little out from the center of Asheville, not that Asheville has a clearly defined center. Our room had a jacuzzi and after a long drive that was a welcome bonus. The rooms were large and clean. There was plenty of parking. The breakfast was barely adequate, but coming from Ireland perhaps I expected a bit too... more

We spent three nights at this hotel in mid-August. We brought our motorcycles on a trailer and rode Blue Ridge Parkway and mountain roads. The hotel was easy to find. Parking was great -- we took advantage of more private and shady spots in the back. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and gave us some great restaurant recommendations. The... more
