This HoJo must have been grand in its day. And it's still pretty nice. Have stayed there several times; have learned to ask for a room with a "courtyard" or "pool" view; these rooms are -much- larger (gigantic, actually). While the decor is stuck in the 1980s, everything is still adequate. The hotel is across the street from the Biltmore... more

Asheville was wonderful, but we will not stay in the same hotel on our next visit. The desk clerk was very friendly. Security seemed great since you had to unlock 2 doors just to get into your room. April 7-9, 2004 stay. Since no reviews were posted , we were skeptical about staying at the cheapest Biltmore package hotel, however, we were pleasantly surprised!
