Although it is a little far from downtown Asheville, the hotel itself is very convenient to the Interstate 40 and is nicely maintained. It is undergoing renovations and will be even nicer soon. more

Looked here saw some mixed but fairly decent reviews. Decided that the construction sounded remote so we booked there for the weekend of August 17th. Huge mistake.
