My friend and I stayed here for one night on our weekend getaway to Asheville. We booked it throught hotwire and got a non-smoking double room. We were very pleased with our stay at this Red Roof Inn. Because we were travelling with our little dog, we were looking for a hotel which would be pet-friendly. The hotel had been recently renovated, the room was very clean and pleasant. The grounds were lovely as well--including a lawn and picnic table. We would stay here again. more

I agree with the last post. The first room they gave us had a very musty smell. We changed rooms and the next one was clean except for the chairs. The air conditioner was very loud. The elevator smelled of smoke and whatever else. The staff was very friendly and helpful. more
