Just got back from a romantic getaway at the Grove Park Inn. We were in a club level room, which was pricey but well worth it considering how often we do this (which is rarely). The room was incredible, with amazing views of the mountains and downtown Asheville. The in-room amenities and decorations were top notch. And I can't say... more

First let me say that my wife and I had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Grove Park Inn. We never left the resort even though there are a myriad of things to do in and around the Asheville area. The resort in itself offered everything we needed for a peaceful and relaxing few days respite of the hustle and... more

It is what was expected. It is an old mountain lodge with much history. The rooms arent suites but have been remodeled very nicely. Let them know if you want to stay in the old or the new part. We stayed in the old and loved the atmosphere. The old elevators are great as well as dinner on the porch.... more

The club level was our choice, because one would naturally assume you would get (close to) what you pay for. We were so wrong. The room was filthy (we called and a manager came up to look and said nothing was wrong with the room!) The staff is surly. The evening cocktails someone mentioned - well drinks, no call brands... more

I was looking for a getaway weekend a reasonable drive from Atlanta and impending hurricanes took nearly all the beaches out of play, from the panhandle up through the Carolina coast. So we decided to finally visit Asheville and see if the Grove Park Inn lived up to all the lofty comments I heard about it. Bottom line is YES... more

My husband and I stayed at the Grove Park Inn for four nights for our anniversary. It was our first visit there and we have absolutely nothing bad to say. Everyone who works there is kind, courteous, and attentive. The restaurants are wonderful. The spa is amazing. The sports complex is huge and well-equipped. We had SO much fun in... more

Stayed there to celebrate my 60th birthday; enjoyed everything but especially the fabulous spa and all of the natural rock. The grounds are lovely, my spa services were fabulous and I enjoyed spending most of one day in the spa pools area. I've never been to a spa like this with all of the rock work in the spa area... more

We went for a weekend honeymoon. The Inn itself is beautiful. The standard rooms are nice. The restaurants are great - pricey, but worth it. The spa is amazing. If you love the mountains then this is a "must stay" for at least a weekend. The staff is great. We had an awesome stay and hated to leave. more

Except for the lobby and the terrace, this is a very over priced Holiday Inn. The rooms are nothing more than the average motel rooms. Nothing special. The linens and towels, decor and comfort of the bed are all just average. The staff is very helpful, the meeting facilities are good. The service in their dining areas is really slow;... more

The Chef at the Sunset Terrace produced fabulous food. The grounds include wonderful views, sculptures and yard art with lots of benches to picnic, or just sit and reflect. The spa is yummy. The staff was friendly and helpful. 5 stars. more
