We stayed here while in Boston for a couple of days. At $100 per night for 3 people (2 double beds) it was a bargain. It is kind of a basic B&B. Don't expect a lot of service, no front desk or anything. You ring a buzzer for someone to hopefully come.
We are Unitarian, so there was no problem staying there. All we had to do was sign into a leger book. Not sure about the Unitarian reguirements.
The rooms are large, but very basic furniture. They were clean, but the beds were very springy and uncomfortable. Also, there is no A/C and no fans. Not good in Boston in August.
The breakfast is very self serve and all the usual stuff, but includes pans for frying eggs which seems unusual and very nice.
The location is right behind the State House on Beacon Hill right off the Common. Very convenient to many sights.
Parking in the Common garage is $10 weekends, $25 weekdays, much lower than downtown hotels, but it is several blocks...
