We stayed 4 nights booked through Hotwire.Yes the hotel is a little "older" but when you compare hotel prices in downtown Boston this was a bargain. It was clean ,comfortable, friendly staff, quiet rooms ,free internet and ideally located in the city. There are a few lower floors assigned to Suffolk College students but we didn't encounter any unruly or... more

I enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn Boston at Beacon Hill. The hotel was nicely located near two "T" stops, Quincy Market and Beacon Hill. The check-in staff was excellent and was ready to advise us on about Boston and the local area. The rooms were clean and nice sized. Based on my Priority club Status, they upgraded us... more

Well, this is really just another Holiday Inn. Public areas were not fancy but acceptable for a hotel this class, service was just OK, the rooms were kinda dated but comfortable and clean enough. The restaurant did serve a pretty decent breakfast with some really good pastries. Location wise, it's a few blocks away from the nearest "T" Station so... more

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Beacon Hill on 23&24 August. We stay at Holiday Inns fairly often as we as Priority Club members and use our points for free rooms. We were very glad on this occasion that we didn't pay for the room as the price wouldn't have been justified. We were upgraded to an Executive Room, and... more

For staying in a 3-star hotel in such a good location, I expected more of the Holiday Inn. It started off poorly when I had to wait almost 30 minutes to check in. There was only one clerk checking guests in, even though other staff would walk through and see the line, but not do anything about it. I'm not... more

It as a typical Holiday Inn, large room, the furniture a bit worn out with a good rate, which we got, not bad. With the free Internet and the friendly staff at the counter and the bartender in particular even good. Would I stay there again? Yes, if the rate is good. more

I ended up with this hotel through Priceline's Name Your Own Price and got a great deal - $100 for a one night stay in late July. We drove in from the Mass Pike - it was fairly easy to find, although for a while I thought we were lost and then we drove right up on it. Good location.... more

Holiday Inn Beacon Hill is a good hotel at at good location. It is close to both the Government Center and Bowdoin (closed on weekends) T stops, and walking distance to most everything that a tourist would want to see in Boston. An added bonus is that there is a Whole Foods and a CVS pharmacy directly behind the hotel.... more

When we arrived at the hotel, the front desk person was very helpful and he upgraded us to an executive room on the 12th floor because we were staying for three nights. We didn't argue. The room was great. It was a good size and the bed and pillows were comfortable. We really enjoyed staying here because of the location... more

The hotel is in a great area for siteseeing. One small flaw. After leaving a tip for housekeeping everyday, we weren't given soap and shampoos. After calling the desk twice, still nothing. Very sad when customer service is key to a good hotel. more
