We went to Boston for a conference. We stayed here mainly because this hotel was really close to the conference venue. So first the good points about this hotel, and then the not-so-good points about it. The location of the hotel is great: the neighborhood is really nice, the metro station is within walking distance, and there are some good... more

The staff is almost absent, but we don't really care (some much more kind than others!). The room we stayed is very very large and the bed king size. Breakfast was simple and unlike advertised cool drinks were not available 24/24 (except water). There is a Wifi network but very unstable and almost unsuable (even in the dinning room). Globally... more

This is supposed to be for woman, but be forewarned to always wear your robe as there was a young man reading in the sitting area along stairway. I was surprised as I had just showered in the bathroom down the hallway! Good thing there is a door in the hall than one can close, concealing bathroom and rooms from... more

Beautiful historical building and good location. The staff is absent, but it didn't bothered me. I stayed there only a short weekend and I was satisfied. I arrived after midnight and thanks for the digital code they had sent to me by e-mail I could enter without any problem. There was nobody at the reception, just an envelope with my... more

Stayed here for 3 nights, arrived at 8.30pm, and was given the key by a male person who answered the door bell (he didn't say who he was). Found our room on the 3rd floor, but there were no lights on on in the room, and it took me ages in the dark to find the lamps!! Not the warmest... more

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights. The staff was super friendly. The airline lost our luggage and the checked in with them, hung sings on the door for them and really did everything to make sure we got them if they arrived. The location is great. Nearly 5 min from copley square and all the shops, close... more

This hotel is a big house rather than a hotel. When I arrived I asked a couple of questions to the girl with the long dark hair and it was such an effort for her to be polite to me. I got to my room and I had a single bed and the room had rackety furniture, but the bed... more

You can't ask for a better location or neighborhood: in a block of classic brownstones down from the Ritz Carlton Hotel and the well-kept pretty Boston Botanical Gardens, and around the corner from a fun and fashionable shopping and dining street. This accommodation is also close to the subway, and walking distance to many great and historic places. It is... more

I have just spent six days in Boston at The College Club. I found this place to be amazing. It is not a contemporay accomodation and does not have TV's in bedrooms etc. But if you are after a clean, well presented and well thought out place to stay that does not cost you a fortune this is the pace... more

When another guest checked in and labored up the stairs at the College Club (which can be an ordeal given height between floors in this once-grand establishment), she joked about how the broken elevator gave this hotel a true "European" feel. Well, the elevator stayed broken for a couple of days instead of the "couple of hours" we were warned... more
