We stayed here for a weekend. It was a great location for TD Banknorth Garden (Celtics/Bruins), Little Italy, Museum of Science, Fanuel Hall, Quincy Markey, New England Aquarium, and catching the T to elsewhere as well. The restaurant downstairs is good; some surprising choices on the menu. Big room too. More

The Bulfinch Hotel is within walking distance of the TD Garden (AKA Boston Garden) and the restaurants of the North End. Room 707 was spotless with a comfortable bed and a small bathroom. The room is probably too small for more than 1 person. The room was equipped with a blackout curtain which worked extremely well. In fact, the room... More

I wanted to stay near Mass General Hospital and was told the hotel has a shuttle to the hospital, so I booked a room. They do have a shuttle - for $10 one way. They have Internet too, but no wifi in rooms. Only in the cramped hallway and the restaurant where I was told Sorry, I'd have to leave... More

I read several reviews and since we were basically looking for a place to crash after a Celtics game, I thought it would be fine. This is great location, especially for going to TD Garden. We choose the self serve parking option, which worked well for me. Our family of four slept in a room that bearly could contain the... More

Thank you for your review of our property and for mentioning our close proximity to the Garden. We, too, love how close we are to exciting venues in Boston and robust districts, including the North End, Fanueil Hall, and Beacon Hill. We have addressed the issue in 404 and look forward to welcoming you back in the future where we... More

The rooms are very small at the Bulfinch. I was most surprised when I entered the room to see how dirty the walls are and the condition of the walls. There are cracks in the drywall that run floor to ceiling. The furniture is badly damaged with large scratches and holes in it. The mattress is very uncomfortable and cheap.... More

This hotel is in a convenient location if you are attending an event at the TD Garden. Like others have said, you can walk there in 5 minutes. There are also a few places to eat within walking distance. However, if you are going to Boston on vacation or plan to stay in town more than one night, you will... More

This hotel is handy if you are attending any events at the TD Garden. It is within a close (less than 5 minute walk) from the center. I stayed here recently on a visit to Boston with a friend. My room was on the 6th floor, and faced Merrimack Street/large parking garage. The pros: Handy location (three minute walk to... More

I initially thought that for the price of the hotel, it would be high end. The rooms were small and dark and the emenities were cheap. When we walked into our "fancy" room, there was painters tape on the wall which wasn't finished being painted. The room smelled like paint, and there were blue paint speckles all over the sheets... Some rooms are tiny, some are average size. My room was on the second floor over the bar/restaurant. The floor was shaking from dance party music in the bar when we got in at midnight on Saturday night. It was unacceptable for a hotel room rental, and management moved us right away. More
