Enjoyed our stay. Would suggest booking corner room overlooking St. Charles River. Did have a noise problem with AC but would still stay again. Great Italian restaurtant but book before you go...it is very popular with the locals. more

Our daughter requested we cancel our reservation for Harvard graduation in Cambridge and stay here. Much cheaper than hotels in Cambridge and much better service. This hotel has a very interesting history and decor in the common areas, making for a unique atmosphere. The front desk staff were welcoming at check-in, offering everyone a glass of champagne. Simply put -- The Liberty exceeded all of our (already high) expectations. It features an ideal location, inspiring/unique architecture (it was a former jail), thoughtful service/staff (welcomed with champagne cocktail at check-in), beautifully appointed guestrooms and absolutely breathtaking views of Boston, Charles River and Cambridge.
