This was a brand new property at the time of stay and in typical Marriott/Renaissance fashion, they did not disappoint. The lobby is nice and modern, and the entire building was very clean. All rooms are non-smoking which is a major plus. Rooms are also spacious, and the beds are extremely comfortable... very hard to crawl out of them in... more

We had a one night stay at the Renaissance Boston and would have liked to stay more if not for the food (weird) but no time! You are out of the city itself but it's not too long a walk back in if you are active and it's nice being by the harbour. The rooms are spacious, beds great, bathroom... more

I had a client perform at Bank of America Pavilion (1/4 mile away). This hotel must be nearly brand-new. Very stylish and tasteful rooms. Great bathroom with excellent fixtures and water pressure. Sweet-smelling natural toiletries. Not a stain on the rug or bed. Nothing broken, chipped or moldy. Efficient and enjoyable all-around. $90 on Priceline. more

I recently stayed at this hotel on a weekend trip to Boston. The room had state of the art appliances such a flat screen tv, coffee maker and tea. The bed was extremely comfortable. The main attractions were in walking distance (although cab drivers will tell you otherwise). The concierge service is helpful. They had answers to my silliest questions!... more

This hotel is new, the rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable. Had a view of the bay from my room. A 7-11 and Dunkin Donuts are 5 minutes away. You can walk in 15 minutes to downtown Boston, it takes about 20 minutes to the aquarium. If the weather is nice it's a good location. The silver line... more

This hotel is convenient to the airport, convention center and downtown and has a lovely waterfront location. Okay, I'm slightly influenced by the fact that I snagged this hotel for under $100 on Priceline for a holiday Saturday night stay but this is still a great hotel and new at that. It's not in the heart of Boston, so if... more

For the most part, the hotel is great. It is certainly an above average 4 star hotel. It is new, clean, and very comfortable. The rooms have extremely large flat screen TV's, and the bathrooms are very nice. If you don't like lots of bright colors, especially orange and blue, than the decor may be somewhat disappointing. The hotel is... more

I wish Marriott would be more consistent. Renaissance and JW Marriott are supposed to be their top of the line hotels. Yet some Renaissances and JW Marriotts are not 4-diamond properties. Such is the case with this Renaissance. It is rated as a 3-diamond property, and it's easy to see why, too. For example, the selection of free toiletries isn't... more

I got to stay here for a very, very good price through Priceline's bidding process (less than 1/3 of the regular price.) It was a great location for me -- very close to the turnpike, the Silver Line is right in front of the hotel, which took me to South Station and the red line to Park Street for my... more

This hotel is about a year old and is beautiful. It's modern and clean. The rooms are a nice size and comfortable. The service was great. This is one of the best experience I've had at a hotel in a while. The one downside is there isn't that much to do in a walking distance but that didn't bother me... more
