Staying at Aisling House was definitely like staying with family! We felt at home the moment we stepped into the house and were taken on a tour. Our room was comfortable, clean and welcoming. Having never been to Boston before, we greatly appreciated the recommendations we received from James & Dympna for our daily journeys into the city and its... More

My daughter and I had a quick one night stay at Aisling. Dympna and James are great and ever so accomodating- carried our two heavy bags up a flight of stairs, only to bring them right back down again- all in order to better fit our needs in a room with a sleeper sofa. Clean, comfortable, and homey. Dympna makes... More

My husband and I spent two nights in Boston while I was there on business and though we are somewhat local, we were able to combine business with pleasure. Aisling is so conveniently located and with it's complimentary parking, we may never want to stay in a conventional business hotel again. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. WiFi was... More

We had a fantastic stay with Dympna and James. It was more like going to stay with Family than being at a B&B. Having said that we had all the privacy in the world. Make time for Breakfast. James is a fantastic host at the table even though he cant cook! Dympna is in the kitchen cooking up a storm.... More

Dympna and James--the innkeepers--are wonderful conversationalists and we thoroughly enjoyed chatting with them at breakfast. As others have already commented, the breakfasts were terrific. Room was clean and well appointed. High speed internet was perfect. Would highly recommend this B&B for the experience.

I stayed here in April 2013 with my boyfriend for his birthday in April. We stayed two nights in Salt Hill. James and Dympna were wonderful hosts, and we thoroughly enjoyed breakfast both mornings. There was a huge spread of fresh baked scones, muffins and bread. Dympna made a delicious hot dish each morning too. Fresh squeezed OJ and fresh... More

What a wonderful relaxing way to start a very intense week in Boston. I stayed here for two nights and genuinely felt part of a family. The personal touch of an airport pickup by James made me feel like I was being met by a kindly uncle. He is an excellent conversationalist, a treasure of information, with a wonderful dry... More

Situated on a quiet side street in the historic South End, what makes this place special are the owners and hosts, Dympna and James. We found ourselves spending a long while lingering over breakfast, engaged in conversation about life and Boston. Speaking of breakfast, Dympna really outdid herself daily with wonderful meals. She makes a delicious home made granola which... More

My husband and I spent 4 nights here over the Boston Marathon weekend, when it can be difficult to find lodging. We have a daughter in college in Boston so we have spent quite a few weekends in the city, but this was the first time we stayed here and we will definitely be back. The location was superior for... Great B and B! Wonderful friendly and accommodating hosts in Dympna and James, outstanding food, help with any information about the area- restaurants, sites, etc. And rides to and from the airport to boot! Saint and Ann
